I have not traveled very far yet. I have only taken a bus to downtown Haifa to walk through some of its neighborhoods.
I traveled 7,448 miles from my hometown of Paso Robles, California to Haifa, Israel. It was a 17 hour flight, 1 hour train ride and 15 minute cab ride!
From the airport, I took a train, and from the train station I took a cab to get to the University of Haifa.
There's a spot on campus that gives you an amazing view of the city and beach. It has got to be my favorite place so far.
The Jewish New Year is coming up. The holiday is called Rosh Hashanah. The Israeli greeting is Shana Tova which means "a good year." It's used to wish others a happy new year. So, Shana Tova everyone!
