The total distance from Yeosu to Seoul is approximately 382.2 kilometers (237 miles). However to make this journey, I took a plane from Yeosu to Seoul, which takes about 45 minutes to an hour. From there, I boarded a train from Seoul to Jinbu Station in Gangwon, which takes around 2 hours. Finally, to reach Yongpyong, I hailed a taxi from Jinbu Station, which takes approximately 20 minutes.
The total travel distance from Yeosu to Yongpyong via Seoul and Jinbu is approximately 597 km (371 miles).But I loved seeing the country in a new way!
A little bit of everything! I traveled via plane, train taxi and then finally by board, but it was all worth it!
During my visit to Yongpyong Resort, I explored the Olympic Park and learned about the global sports heritage in Korea. The resort was a notable venue during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
