The weather is dry and dusty. It is almost the end of the Harmattan season in Ghana right now. Harmattan is when sand from the Saharra Desert is carried south, so the air becomes dusty and hazy. It has started to rain a few times this week though, so the dry season will soon end and the rainy season will begin.
I saw chickens, goats, and sheep this week! My town is a farming village, and many people have farm animals that are free to roam around the community. I also see bats flying around at night, too!
I saw a great sunset this week! My community is in a valley, so when the sun sets, it sets behind one of the mountains and makes the sky really colorful and beautiful.
This afternoon it rained very hard! When it rains hard, usually my electicity goes out. While it is frusturating to have my electricity go out, I am happy it is starting to rain, so it is less dry here.
