I did not travel this week at all. For the past few weeks, I have stayed only in my community! I do take long walks around the community though. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from one end of the community to the other.
I have traveled around many places in Ghana, so far. I have visited 9 out of 16 of the regions in Ghana! Ghana is a medium-sized country, so over the course of my time here, I have been able to see many of the most significant tourist sites and cities.
I walked around my community. I did not take any vehicles this week!
The most interesting place I visited this week were the churches on Sunday morning. There are many Christians in my community, and there are many different types of churches. Last Sunday morning, I visited the Pentacost church, the Evangelical Presybyterian church, and the Roman Catholic church all in one morning!
In two weeks, I will be traveling to the capital to support the training of new Peace Corps volunteer teachers. I am also planning to take trips to the country of Togo at the end of March and to Zambia and Zimbabwe in April! I am excited for these possibilities!
