The weather in Taiwan is usually very hot and humid! Last week, the weather began to cool down a little, but it was hotter again this week. The first few days this week were sunny with no clouds, with the temperature around 80º to 85ºF. For the last few days, the weather has had a few more clouds and is a little cooler, about 75º to 80ºF. This weekend, we are supposed to get a little bit of rain. Every day so far has been very humid here, which means there is a lot of water vapor in the air. This can make the weather feel a little wet and stuffy sometimes.
Last weekend, I took a trip to southern Taiwan, to a town called Kenting. My friend, Zoe, and I went to the National Aquarium and saw some amazing animals there. We saw all kinds of fish, sharks, jellyfish and stingrays! We also saw a Beluga whale, penguins and many other super cool animals!
