A Typical Day for Lehakoe

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We speak English at school, even during Sesotho lessons. When we answer questions during Sesotho lessons, we write in Sesotho.

"Hello" in my language (Sesotho) is “lumela”.

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

The common names at my school are Katleho, Thato and Tlhonolofatso.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

We study science and technology, English, Sesotho, creativity and numeracy. My favorite one is creativity.

What is your homework like?:

Sometimes, we do projects about arts and crafts. 

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

I like to read. I also like to play games like hide-and-seek. My favorite game is rock, paper, scissors.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

I don't have one.

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I listen to songs by Sannere.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I would like to be a dentist. 

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

I would go to Asia, like to South Korea.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

I don't know much about America, but I think most people speak English.
