Hello, everyone!
My name is Jenny, and I'm looking forward to sharing my adventures abroad with you!
I am 19 years old, and I am from a small town named Paso Robles in California. Paso Robles is known for its wineries. The entire town is covered with vineyards so the scenery is absolutely beautiful, making it perfect for walks or runs, especially with my dogs! Some of my hobbies include hiking, playing piano, and reading, preferably books in Spanish. I come from a family of five: my parents, me, and two younger brothers. Because I only have brothers, as a kid I liked to play with dinosours and legos instead of dolls. My home university is Fresno State located approximately two hours away from my hometown, Paso Robles. My major is Business Administration, but my focus is on International Business. My minor is Jewish Studies, which is a big reason why I chose to study abroad in Israel.
Going to Israel has been on my bucket list for a while now. I’ve dreamed of the day I would be able to check it off my list, but once the opportunity finally came up, I was actually really, really scared. My original plan was to study abroad for one semester, which is only about five or six months. Israel only offered a year-long program, so it was either all or nothing.
