You are about to (virtually) board Wind Surf, the largest sailing vessel in the world. The ship holds nearly 350 guests and more than 200 crew members! Over the next 56 days, Wind Surf is embarking on a grand Caribbean expedition, circumnavigating the entire Caribbean Sea. Along the way, the ship will visit 38 ports in 22 countries, including one of the United States territories, the U.S. Virgin Islands. Over the course of this remarkable journey, the ship will sail more than 6,400 nautical miles, which is like driving across the United States twice!

It takes a special team of officers and crew members to operate a ship of Wind Surf's magnitude. We'll explore the way these individuals prepare for a multi-week expedition at sea and interact with local cultures in each port-of-call. We will be also be exploring the unique and rich cultural heritage of Caribbean nations and investigating the incredible sea life in this region.

Your onboard host for this expedition is Lorena Sabili, Wind Surf's Assistant Destination Manager. Lorena will be joining us live from the ship on multiple video calls during the expedition. Lorena was born and raised on the island of Biliran in the Phillippines and always dreamed of following in her seafaring father's footsteps.
