I traveled about 4000 kilometers (about 2500 miles) this week, because of my trips to Bogotá and Santa Marta.
This was the longest trip I have taken within the country, and it was the second time I traveled to Santa Marta. During the December-January break I traveled all over Colombia, about 25,000 kilometers in total.
A friend of mine lent me his bike for the year, so I ride a bike around Pasto. I took taxis to and from airports, planes to Bogotá and Santa Marta, and a van to La Cocha. I also hiked a lot this week.
I found Tayrona Park incredibly interesting. I think it is my favorite place in Colombia!
I also finally bought my ticket to San Andres, a Colombian Caribbean island, where I will travel for semana santa (Holy Week). My family will travel there from the U.S., so I am excited!
