The weather this week has been changing all the time. Right now, we are in the rainy season, so most days it rains for at least part of the day. Sometimes, it rains all day long. The weather is cloudy, and temperatures are cool. However, it has been sunnier than usual recently, which made it quite hot for a few days!
This week, I saw toucans, parrots and other birds near my house. When I went hiking in the rainforest on Saturday, I even saw a group of several monkeys. They were very noisy!
While I was getting a ride home from a friend, I noticed there was a tree frog that had jumped onto the windshield of her car and was sitting there. I did not see it until after we started driving, and even though we were going fast, it was still holding on––what a strong frog! When I noticed it, we stopped to let it get off the car and hop away into the bushes.
