This week, I did not travel much, just a few miles.
So far, I have traveled several hundred miles in my free time visiting different parts of Perú!
This week, I mostly walked to get places since I live close to town. A few times, I took a taxi or got a ride from a friend.
On Saturday, I visited the market in town to buy fruits and vegetables. It is a huge, open building that is always full of hundreds of people buying and selling things. You can find almost anything you might need there, from clothes to groceries to books. At one of the fruit stands, I got to try a new fruit called a mangostino. I had never tried it before because it only grows during the rainy season. It was very tasty!
