Wow, I cannot believe my four months in South Korea are already close to ending! Before traveling to Seoul, I remember sharing how worried I fekt. I was worried for a lot of reasons, but the main one was my fear of time. I felt like four months would be incredibly long. I thought that if I had a hard time making friends or adjusting, then I would feel like time would move slowly. However, the total opposite happened! I have found that the four months went by incredibly fast. Time flew by thanks to amazing friends, great trips and being busy with school.
I will never forget all the amazing memories and people I met while I was out here. Studying abroad was not just a great academic experience, but a personal one as well. While I took many difficult, yet interesting courses, I also challenged myself personally. I forced myself to get out of my comfort zone by talking to more people, taking a graduate course and doing activities I had never tried before.
Although it's bitter sweet to leave, I am also excited to go back to California and U.C.I. I am ready to graduate from college and move onto a new journey. Since I plan to get my Master's degree, I will definitely consider studying abroad during that time, too. I would totally suggest that all of you also consider studying abroad when you get to college.
