안녕하세요! Hi, how are you? My name is Xochitl (so-cheel) Berumen. I am 22 years old and am originally from Norwalk, California. I am currently a fifth-year college student at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). My majors are political science and international studies with a minor in history. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, listening to music, going for walks, and traveling. Since learning about different cultures is a big part of my major, as well as travel, I decided to study abroad in South Korea for my fall semester. Thankfully, when I applied to study abroad, both my school and the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship Program made it possible for me to study abroad. By providing me with financial aid and scholarships, I was able to come to South Korea. I am currently living in Sinchon and attending school at Yonsei University. I am only a couple of subway stops away from many of Seoul's historical locations! I am super excited to share my journey with you all!
