Then, you throw the sack at someone who kicks it to another person. The sack has to stay in the air and keep getting passed to everyone playing. No hands allowed! If everyone kicks the sack at least once, that’s a “hack.” If everyone gets it twice, that’s a “hacky.” And if everyone gets it three times, that’s a “hacky sack.” We’ve only gotten to a "hack" in our group of 4 to 5 beginner-level players.
