The weather this week (end of January) was fairly dreary but also very pretty! It was cloudy every day this week, but it did not rain. It does not rain very often in Jordan because it is mostly a desert climate, here, but it was beautiful even with all the clouds. I was surprised when it snowed this week because I didn't expect to see snow in the desert, which made it all even more exciting!
I saw so many cats this week! I'm a big cat person so I loved seeing all of them throughout the week. Even though I loved seeing all of these cats, it was also sad at times because I realized that a lot of these cats do not have homes, so they have to live on the streets and have to find food in the dumpsters in the area. I also got to see a camel when I visited the desert area. The camel was huge (taller than me!) and it had to crouch down so that I could get on top of it. I was super-scared because it had a very wobbly walk so I thought I was going to fall off, but I didn't, and I had a great time!
