Adelaide's Coffee Hour Interview

Introduction:

Every week, I host a coffee hour at the café across the street from my school, where students of all ages can relax, practice their English and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea! This week, join me as I chat with four 12 year-old eighth graders to learn all about their daily lives!

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For breakfast, I have heard everything from cereal to coffee cake and sometimes even leftovers from the night before! For lunch, it is usually a simple ham and cheese sandwich packed for school. Dinner can vary, but some of the dishes I have heard about include meatballs with onions, pheasant (a type of bird) and Moussaka, a tasty mix of eggplant, beef and potatoes!

What is your house like?:

Houses can vary quite a bit! Many families have two homes—one in a nearby village with a garden where they grow vegetables and another in the city. It is pretty common because, on the weekends, families like to escape to their houses in the nature for a little break after a busy workweek!

What chores do you have at home?:

Chores can vary, but they usually include things like doing the laundry, helping with cooking, taking out the garbage and making sure their rooms are clean every day!
