COAR Kids - Student Life at Peru's High-Performance Boarding Schools

However, I would also love to go to Japan and China for their culture. I just want to explore as much as possible!

What do you know or think about the United States?:

We see a lot of people from the United States in our streets and touring our cities. There are stereotypes about people from the United States, who we call “gringos.” These are that the majority of citizens are White, tall, attractive, and have blue or green eyes.

Another stereotype is that Americans speak so quickly that foreigners cannot understand what is said. On our social media, we also hear that there are a lot of school shootings in the United States. Here, school shootings do not happpen. We do not have drills for school shootings, but instead, we have drills for earthquakes.

What questions do you have for kids in the United States?:
  1. How often do you see Peruvian foreigners in universities?
  2. What recommendations would you give to foreign students who want to start applying for scholarships? What are the profiles of successful applicants?
  3. What food do you like and why do you like it?
