Hinduism: A Unique Religion

Is this tradition connected to its environment? How?:

Yes, Hinduism is by far the largest religion in India. It governs how people live their lives and treat others. Paying respects to the gods through worship is a large part of life for Hindus. Many people have small alters in their houses to worship the gods every day, and then visit temples on special occasions.

Not only that, but the diversity of beliefs in Hinduism reflects the diversity that exists in the country of India. In previous field notes I’ve talked about how the environment and weather is very diverse throughout India- that diversity is also in every other aspect of Indian culture! The diversity of beliefs in Hinduism are all connected, though, by traditions that people throughout India have in common, like performing the aarati ritual.
