One of my favorite German songs is a song for kids, and it's called Ich Habe Einen Kleinen Papagei (I Have a Little Parrot). It's about a little parrot that doesn't always behave!
This week, I went to a dance class with my friends! A dance called the Lindy Hop is very popular here, and it was really fun to wear a pretty dress and learn all the steps. The Lindy Hop is a kind of dance you do with a partner, so I also made a lot of new friends. We danced for three hours in a row!
How many of you know Princess Leia from Star Wars? Well, Princess Leia was played by an actress named Carrie Fisher, and this week I read a book she wrote about her own life. I'm also reading a book about Native American plants and medicines, which is really interesting.
This week, I played badminton with my friends at the beach! Badminton is a sport which is a little bit like tennis, but it has a smaller ball with feathers attached. We didn't have a net, but we had a lot of fun trying to keep the ball in the air so it didn't fall down onto the sand!
This week, I left Kiel and traveled to the country of Denmark. I got to explore Copenhagen, which is the biggest city in Denmark. Copenhagen is also next to the water, and it has a lot of beautiful castles where the King and Queen of Denmark live.
