Some common names for boys are Christopher, Hanniel, Meteo and Martin. For girls, some common names are Maria, Salome and Salete.
In school, Alex and Niko study history, natural sciences, social sciences, English, math and literature. Some other classes are computer class, physical education, drawing and cultural arts. Cultural arts is a mix of music, dance and acting. When I was younger, I only had music, but I think dance and drama would have been fun too! Since Alex is in high school, he also has some more advanced classes, like physics, chemistry and civics. Niko’s favorite classes are music and math, and Alex’s favorite classes are English and physical education.
They both have mostly written homework, such as writing sentences or summarizing passages in the book for English or doing different problems and exercises for math. They also sometimes have online homework, like doing exercises and worksheets on their school’s website. Alex spends almost three hours a day on homework and Niko spends about a half hour.
After school, they like to ride their bikes and skateboards and play videogames on the computer. Alex’s favorite sport is soccer, and Niko’s favorite game is escondidas, or "hide-and-seek" in English.
