How far did I travel this week?:

This week I took a trip to Lake Neuisedl with my classmates. The train ride was 45 miles each way. Every day that I am in Vienna I travel about three miles. This week I have traveled about 105 miles.

  1. Taken a train from North Carolina to New York City
  2. Flew from New York City to Dublin, Ireland
  3. Flew from Dublin, Ireland to Frankfurt, Germany
  4. Explored around Germany
  5. Taken a train from Munich, Germany to Vienna, Austria

 

 In total, I have travelled over 5,225 miles!

How did I get around this week?:

This week I travelled by bike, I walked, I took the train and I even took a ferry boat! There are so many great options for traveling around Austria.

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

This week I got to visit Belvedere Palace. The Belvedere Palace is a very fancy and very big building. The Emporer of Austria used to live there in the summer. Austria doesn't have an emporer any more, so now the Belvedere is a museum with lots of famous artwork. Many of the paintings are by Austrian artists. Two of the most famous Austrian artists are Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele.
