What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

The most interesting place I visited this week was the castle, or castillo, of Ibiza. This castle dates back to the 16th century. Today, it is open to the public 24 hours a day. In fact, in addition to the many restaurants and viewpoints that line the narrow streets, many people also live within the castle’s walls. Can you imagine living in castle that was built 500 years ago? Where would you want your castle to be?

Other Travel News from this week:

Like I mentioned, this week I was also able to make a quick trip to Madrid for a Fulbright event. The event was sort of like a “birthday party” for the Fulbright Commission in Spain – this year, the Commission turned 60 years old! This event was held in the auditorium of a very special building in Spain: the Prado National Art Museum. The best part? The king of Spain, King Felipe VI, came to the ceremony!
