Exploring the Unique Wildlife of Switzerland and Morocco

Introduction:

Although I wouldn’t call myself an animal lover, my time in Switzerland has made me appreciate animals and the beauty of nature.

Switzerland is famous for its stunning landscapes and wildlife, and it is home to various animals such as red deer, brown bears, alpine marmots, cows and chamois. Whether it is on the train or out exploring, there is never a dull moment because everywhere I go, I am surrounded by nature. On the weekends, my friends and I take advantage of the transportation and our Swiss travel card to visit different parts of Switzerland. One of the activities I love doing here is hiking. Exploring trails in Grindelwald, St-Cergue or Interlaken has been one of the most memorable parts of my time here. Not only is it therapeutic to walk in nature and relieve the stress of school, but it is also rewarding when you spot a beautiful mountain view or a creature out in the wild. For example, a month ago, my friends and I went to explore Interlaken and made a stop at Lauterbrunnen, where we saw chamois. Initially, we wanted to see the famous waterfall in Lauterbrunnen, but due to the fatigue of climbing the Swiss mountains, we decided to look at chamois instead. We saw both locals and tourists in the area who were also mesmerized by seeing these creatures in the wild.
