Morocco is a country where tradition and modernity beautifully coexist like a mosaic, giving a glimpse of the rich diversity of its culture, history, and way of life. Located in North Africa, Morocco is know for its vibrant community with the famous colorful markets, music, intricate architecture, and the warm hospitality of its people. During my time here, I had the chance to experience Moroccan community life — from the busy medinas filled with the locals, food, and clothing, to the quiet shared moments over a cup of sweet mint tea and Morocan bread.
Despite its stunning landscapes, rich infrastructure, vibrant markets and communities, Morocco is significantly impacted by climate change. Water scarcity, in particular, poses a major challenge, deeply affecting daily life. Many regions struggle with limited access to clean and reliable water sources, creating widespread difficulties that shape the community’s overall way of life.
