While exploring Copenhagen, I visited a fun restaurant with my friends and tried a very special dessert. It was one of the biggest milkshakes I have ever seen!
I tried a giant Oreo milkshake. Here in Denmark, they call it a "Freakshake". It had crushed Oreo cookies mixed into the milk shake. On top, there was whipped cream, cookie crumbs a whole Oreo cookie, and even a mini chocolate doughnut!
I felt excited and surprised because it was the biggest milkshake I've ever had. It tasted very sweet and creamy. I felt very happy trying something fun in a new country.
The milkshake is made by blending ice cream and milk together. Then crushed Oreo cookies are mixed in. After that, whipped cream is added on top, along with an Oreo and a chocolate doughnut which is put on a stick.
In Denmark, some cafés and diners make something called “freakshakes.” These are giant milkshakes with lots of fun toppings like cookies, candy and whipped cream. In Copenhagen, people enjoy going to cozy cafés with friends and trying creative desserts. Freakshakes are popular because they are colorful, exciting and fun to share.
