It is a city you can visit once and leave your trip telling everyone you're going to live there (or at least that is what I did!).
I do not work an official job while I am studying abroad, but I do complete virtual work as a debate coach for the Bronx High School of Science in New York. I did debate throughout highschool at Hays and love that I get to continue helping students improve their public speaking skills.
Living abroad has brought me some of my most fond and most challenging memories. It is by far the best decision I have ever made.
