The weather this week, and all weeks here, is amazing. Tenerife is known for always being warm and sunny year-round. It has not rained here yet! "Bad" weather here is if there is a cloud in the sky. This week is supposed to be really hot (in the 90s). This will be challenging because most places are not air-conditioned here because it is normally so nice out!
There are a lot of lizards here!
This week, I went on a hike through the Anaga Mountains near Santa Cruz. We took a bus up a windy road through the mountains and hopped off at a stop near the beginning of the trail. We hiked for about three hours. What was different about this hike from others is that we hiked through all different kinds of paths. Some paths were wet and slippery through the forest, while others were hot and dry like we were in the desert. Some paths were rocky and rugged, while other times we were walking along the side of the road. We got to see so many things in such a short time.
