This week was surprisingly rainy! It was a bummer since there is so much to do here outside, but I was trapped inside all day. La Laguna is higher up than Santa Cruz so it is normally colder, especially at night. For example, if it is 68 degrees in Santa Cruz at night, it might only be 50 degrees in La Laguna!
La Laguna is another city so there are not many animals there. The only animals that I saw there were pigeons and unfortunately a cockroach, yuck!
La Laguna, like Santa Cruz, is surrounded by nature. The coolest thing that I saw this week were different types of cactuses! Where I am from in the U.S., we do not have cactuses, so it is very new and cool for me!
It was windy and rainy this week because we are now entering the cold season here (although really it is not that cold). It will never snow here, but it does rain and get a little chilly.
