At that time, I was stuck indoors for almost a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so I decided to apply to one of the countries I didn't know anything about or had only a little knowledge of, like Germany. It was funny for me, because most of the time, when people study abroad they like to choose a country they know about, but for me, it was for the opposite reason: I knew nothing about Germany before I came! And since I didn’t know anything about Germany, I think this served as a motivation for me to go to Germany and to learn more about the country. This made an incentive for me to study the language and the culture harder. I am really glad that I can be part of this rich program because, just like you guys, I am also learning this country’s history and culture from the very beginning.
I have a question for you all. Could you tell me the reason why you would like to know more about Germany? Do you have family members from this country? What do you already know about Germany?
