In addition to the usual collection of cats, small lizards and jellyfish, a whale washed up on the beach by my house! In the future, I'll do a post on the biodiversity of Senegalese waters.
I went up on the roof to watch the thunderstorms. The electricity went out in the neighborhood, so I got a great view of the night sky and the ocean when the lightning lit up the sky--it was beautiful!
