Transportation is something that everyone does in order to get from one place to another. I think there are many similarities in how we get around in the United States and in Marrakesh! Do you agree?
Here in Marrakesh, you can see many ways of getting around. For example, you can take a taxi, a bus, a bike, a motorcycle or even a horse carriage! But I think the way that a lot of people get around is by walking. I walk to school every morning, and I see a lot of people doing the same. Yet, there are so many taxis that can take you almost anywhere you want in the medina (the old part of a town or city). But I think that the most fun way to get around here is by taking a horse carriage.
So far, I have taken only a taxi here in Morocco. I took a taxi with my host sister in order to go to the old medina. It was a fun experience because the taxi driver tried having a conversation with me in Arabic even though I did not understand a lot. I also walk to school every morning; I enjoy it because it is relaxing and I can take a break from my busy day.
