The Eco-friendly Commute

Introduction:

Bloomington is a quaint, little college town in the city of Indiana. The majority of the citizens in this town are students who study or conduct research at Indiana University. This little town has three important places i.e. the university, the downtown, and, the college mall shopping area and all these places can be accessed by buses run by the Bloomington Transit and rentable electronic scooters from an app called Lime.

How do people get around?:

The university campus is beautiful and huge and people are often seeing walking around the picturesque campus. The downtown is also at a walkable distance from the campus. However, in order to commute to the shopping area and the housing area, people often use the city bus service or the rentable electronic scooters.

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

The electronic scooter was a very new thing for me and I had never used it back in India mostly because the places I had lived had a lot of traffic and there were no separate lanes for bikes. I was very excited to try these bikes and though it took some time for me to master riding them, I can manage to operate them now. One main problem with these bikes is that they can't be used during rains or when it is very cold because the hand completely freezes making movements impossible.
