It was so cool and I ended up watching hip-hop dancing for almost 6 hours. I've never seen anything like it before!
I just finished the book Lessons in Chemistry and loved it! I've also been reading a book to learn more about the history of street vending in Vietnam called Sidewalk City: Remapping Public Space in Ho Chi Minh City. This book has been an awesome way to supplement my research project and learn more about the history of Ho Chi Minh City.
As usual, I attended rugby practice this week, it was a lot of fun! We are preparing for a tournament in Taiwan in June so practice has been very important. I also got to fly my friend's kite which was a lot of fun. People love flying kites in Ho Chi Minh City and I had never flown one before! (It was easier than I thought it would be.)
Because it has been so hot, I have been exploring a lot of new coffee shops. Coffee culture is huge in Vietnam so there are hundreds of cute coffee shops around Ho Chi Minh City and I love finding new ones to do work or read in. I visited on called Bluish which is also a record store and has really delicious coffee. I plan to go back there sometime this week!
