Then when your food is done, you swipe your card on a little screen in front of the counter and carry your food on a tray back to your seat. You can go back as many times as you want and swipe for more food. Once you are finished, they will scan your card at the door and tell you the total.
I listened to a lot of French music (my current favorites are: Voler de Nuit by Calogero and Feu de Joie by Bénabar) this week along with some songs from a new movie that I saw (A Star is Born).
The most fun activity that I have done this week would be to watch the last Harry Potter movie...in German! I went to a nearby movie theater where they have been showing the series for the past few weeks leading up to the new release of the Grindelwald film. This was a wonderful experience: firstly because I understood a lot of the German that the characters were speaking, and secondly because I know the film really well, so it was comforting to see familiar characters while living abroad!
This week I read more of Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone in German along with some articles for my Border Studies classes about bilingualism and multilingualism. I am still trying to work through a lot of the German technical words.
