As the Chief Steward, I oversee all of the Stewards aboard the ship. I started as a Catering Assistant, and over the years I have worked hard to get higher positions on the ship. At first I was reluctant to try being the Chief Steward, but I'm glad I did. I used to drive a forklist in a factory where they made Tupperware containers, and decided with my wife that I would switch to working on ships to support our family.
Whatever you want to do with your life, you have to be a go-getter. This is how you will fulfill your dreams. The more effort that you put into achieving what you want, the more you will get out of life and your work. Always be willing to learn from others. Be open to advice, especially from people who are willing to share the lessons that they have learned.
