Field Note - Kids' Lives

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

Mahama: When I grow up, I would like to be a civil engineer. A civil engineer works on large construction projects like buildings. I want to be a civil engineer because I like the way these projects are constructed. The way the weight, foundation and supports are arranged interests me.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

Clinton: I would go to New Orleans. I have heard that it is a good city with nice surroundings and people.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

Queen: I know that it's a great place full of amazing stuff. I know that it's a developed country full of riches and amazing buildings. It also has Hollywood.

Clinton: It is a developed country with beautiful buildings and surroundings, good, rich people and good schools.

Mahama: I think the United States is a powerful country that has amazing people and feels the need to help other countries.

What questions do you have for kids in the United States?:

Clinton: How does it feel to live in the United States?

Queen: Would you like to visit Ghana?

Mahama: I don't have questions for the kids in the U.S.
