The weather this week was typical Galician weather -- not very cold, but quite rainy and humid. Sunny days in the winter are fairly rare. Most days in Vigo are a combination of cloudy skies, light but steady rain and strong winds blowing in from the ocean. We had some especially intense weather at the beginning of the week.
Vigo itself is quite urban. So, in my day to day life, I see mostly little dogs dressed up in rain jackets!
On a hike I did outside of the city, I saw some interesting clovers growing on a tree trunk! As someone who likes to draw, I often take inspiration from different shapes I see in nature. The clovers inspired some water color paintings I did this week.
During the beginning of the week, the weather was quite tense. For 48 hours it either torrentially rained, blew winds at 50 mph or hailed!
