To say hello in Irish, we say dia duit, which directly translates to "God be with you." It's pronounced d-ya ditch!
Not anymore, unfortunately. I grew up with two dogs. Their names were Brann and Max. I loved them to death. I was three when we got Max and eight for Brann. My entire family loves animals. My sister is even a veterinarian! We also had family donkeys that lived in the west.
As a European, it's quite easy to get around Europe. I myself studied abroad in Europe. I did a semester in Stockholm, Sweden. I love going on holidays to various cities in Europe, such as Paris, Barcelona and Prague. I especially like to visit friends who have moved or are studying abroad around Europe.
Since I'm a full-time student, I work part-time as a social media manager for a number of different business clients. It is mainly for hotels. My job involves monitoring social media activity, dealing with questions/complaints and occasionally producing fun content. It's a very low-stress job, and I find it quite fun!
I think getting the chance to study abroad or travel is a great chance to learn new things about other cultures. It's also just good craic. Even as an Irishman, it's been great getting to know Joao and learn about America while he's here abroad!
