안녕하세요 (ahn-nyoung-ha-seh-yo)! Hello, Mr. McHenry’s class! My name is Grace, and I am so excited to share with all of you! I live in South Korea now, but my home is in the United States. My family lives in New Jersey with my dog, Mocha. I have a mom, a dad, two brothers and a sister. I like to go on walks with my family in our neighborhood. I also like to eat good food with my siblings or draw on my own. What do you like to do with your friends or family?
Last year, I graduated from Taylor University. Taylor University is in Upland, Indiana. It is forty-five minutes away from your school. At Taylor, I learned to be a teacher, just like Mr. McHenry. Mr. McHenry and I shared a class together in 2021 when I was a student teacher. We had a lot of fun doing science projects and other subjects together. On my last day, we dressed up as pirates! Mr. McHenry helped me become a better teacher. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Now I live in South Korea as a Fulbright English teacher! So far, I have loved living here. Every day I eat good food, learn about South Korea and practice the Korean language. I am excited to share more about my life in South Korea and what I am learning. This week, I am moving to Gumi, South Korea to teach English at an elementary school.
