In this journey, you’ve seen how Korea is very different from Indiana. It might have been the first time you saw pictures of the language and food like tteokbokki. However, Korea is also similar to Indiana in some ways: kids still go to school every day, play games with their friends and do homework. Outside, there are parks to explore with grass, birds and flowers. I hope learning about these similarities and differences made you eager to learn more about Korean culture and other cultures around you.
Remember that the world is very big with many different places to explore! Even in your own hometown, I hope you discover new things and meet new friends by looking closely, asking questions and staying curious. Have a great end of the school year and summer! It has been a pleasure to share this journey with you!
