To get to Dubai I traveled about 40 minutes to the airport in Amman, flew about three hours to Dubai. I then traveled about one hour to get into the city.
Dubai is about 1,511 miles away and Dahab is about 296 miles away, so Dubai is the farthest I have traveled so far.
This week I traveled by taxi in Dubai and Careem (similar to Uber in Amman).
The most interesting place I visited was the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the largest mosque in Abu Dhabi. It was about an hour and a half drive from Dubai. I visited this mosque a few years ago, so I wanted to go back again this time. It is absolutely breathtaking!
This week my roommate Gabby rented a car because her mom and sister were visiting. I drove with her yesterday in Amman. Driving here is much more chaotic than Minnesota! People don't really stick to their car lanes, honk all the time, and roundabouts don't have many rules. We were so happy once we arrived to the market we were driving to!
