Last Sunday I returned from a vacation to Dahab, Egypt. To get to Dahab I had to take a 45-minute car ride to the Amman airport, fly to Sharm El Sheikh airport in Egypt (about a one-hour flight), then take a one-hour drive to Dahab.
The farthest I have traveled in Jordan so far is to Ma'in Hot Springs, which is close to the Dead Sea. The drive was about 1.5 hours and 30 miles.
I typically get around using an app called Careem (similar to Uber). In Arabic, careem means "kind" or "generous".
My friend and I tried a new Thai food restaurant for lunch. The food was good and we spent about six JD each on our meals ($8.48 USD). The restaurant is about five minutes walking from my house, so I definitely will be back soon!
