Spanish, of course! Interestingly, however, I have heard a lot of both English and German while walking on the University campus where my lab is located. I have been told that this is a very popular place for study abroad students.

This is a solid tie between the Friendsgiving meal I made with some non-Spanish friends and the churros with chocolate that I got on Sunday morning. For Friendsgiving, since it is kind of hard to be so far away for the holidays, I invited some friends over and we had a potluck. I made vegetables cooked in butter and rosemary and pumpkin soup (which I completely cheated on, since I bought it pre-made), my friend Laura brought cheese, bread and Spanish meats; Caroline brought apple pie; Keisa brought mashed potatoes and Mar brought tacos. It was all delicious! As for the churros, they are a very typical weekend breakfast food, and since it was a little cold on Sunday morning, dipping them in hot chocolate really hit the spot!
