Our News

What music did I listen to this week?:

Well, as I'm writing this particular sentence, I'm listening to "El Paso" by Marty Robbins, but my general playlist is rife with songs of various genres, countries, and languages. The most recent additions to my playlist include some Russian music from the 80s, some Neue Deutsche Härte (not Rammstein, but yes there is some of their music in there as well), and songs from the three Baltic countries.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

This last Tuesday, I went to a Halloween party hosted by the study abroad social media team, for which I am a blogger; I got to paint on a Kürbis (pumpkin), enjoy some thin bread pizza, and watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (in German, unceremoniously referred to as just der größe Kürbis).

What did I read this week?:

For this week, I didn't have to do much reading for class; what little reading I did was rather technical so not easy to describe here. Outside, I have mostly been looking through summer scholarship and internship application requirements and going down informational rabbit holes on Wikipedia (I find those ones fun)!

What games or sports did I play this week?:

While I don't play any games or sports, I take the metro to a gym close to Amager Strand (Amager Beach; Danish and German in this case are the exact same) and train there almost every day (can't exercise properly without rest days, y'know). Relating to earlier, the nature around Amager Strand is also quite ausgezeichnet (excellent).
