I also saw a youth ski team practicing on the slopes. I talked with skiers from Georgia, Poland, Russia and Australia who traveled to ski in Mestia!
I love skiing because it gives me an opportunity to connect with a community of people who are passionate about the same thing as me. We may not come from the same cultures or speak the same languages, but we are just as excited about fresh snow and deep powder.
