Kids in Argentina

In Argentina, when you greet people you typically say Hola, comó andás?,  which means "Hi, how are you?" Each Spanish speaking country is a little different, though. 

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

For girls: Sofia, Lucia, Josefina, Juana, Paz. And for boys: Tomás, Santiago, Agustin, Joaquin, Manuel.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

In school I have Biology, Environmental Studies, Language, Literature (in English) and History, Art and Math (in Spanish). My favorite is Biology.

What is your homework like?:

Homework in school is easy, but we have to think a lot and I don't like that.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

I love hockey and dancing.

Tata has gone to her school since she was very little, and because it is a small school, she has had the same classmates and friends for a very long time and most of the families know each other. Because of that, she usually has plans with friends outside of school. 

Who is your favorite famous person?:

Maybe Rosalia.

Rosalia is a very popular singer from Spain. Tata recently went to Lollapalooza Argentina, a giant music festival here, and got to see Rosalia!

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I love artists like The Weeknd, Rihanna and Rosalia.

 

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I would like to be an architect.
