Interview with Emma!

"In Estonian hello is 'Tere!', in Finnish 'Terve!', Spanish 'Hola!', in Russian 'привет!' (privet) and in English 'Hello!'"

Do you have pets?:

"I do not have any more, but I had a dog named Iida and three parrots named Siuts, Viiru and Jacko. I loved them all."

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

"I like to travel, but I've only started doing it recently. I've been to Italy, Austria, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Latvia, Switzerland, USA and England. I would love to travel even more."

What do you do for work?:

"Right now I am focusing only on my studies and I do not work, but I do have an unpaid internship in the Estonian Anthropology Centre (Antropoloogia Keskus).

"I just left my old job which was an sales assistant and customer service representative in photography museum named Fotografiska."

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

"Estonia is a beautiful country with wonderful nature and fascinating history. While other countries have been in charge of us, we have not lost our cultural and national identity. There are 1.3 million people in Estonia, we have our own language and we have one of the largest ratios of companies and start-ups per capita in the world. I think that Estonia is really worth adventuring to."
