This week's weather was a mix of bright, clear skies and random rain showers. It is becoming hotter every day because the season is changing. Do you like colder weather or warmer weather?
This week I was at my school, sitting on a bench, just waiting to get a document. I saw a centipede wiggle across the ground. It crawled into a hole. I was very glad it didn't crawl onto me!
The coolest thing I experienced in nature this week was in Gamboa, a village on the island of Tinharé. While staying at Morro de São Paulo, I took a boat to the other side of the island to Gamboa where there are mudbanks. I wanted to go because I had heard that I could cover my body in the mud. At home in New York, I use clay in my hair and on my face as a mask so I was very excited to try it from the earth itself.
The mud actually clay that was on the side of cliffs near the ocean. It was a blend of red, yellow, brown and pink.
