The journey to Morro de São Paulo was about the same length as to Boipeba. It took several hours and multiple changes in transportation to reach the island. I took ferries, taxis, buses and other boats.
I've traveled a lot throughout the state of Bahia. I live in Salvador and I've been to two islands, Boipeba and Tinharé. I have also traveled to Chapada Diamantina, Praia do Forte and Cachoeira. At the end of the week, I will travel outside the state and then outside the country.
I got around this week my normal way: taking the ônibus.
The most interesting place I visited was Morro de São Paulo. O Morro, which means hill, is a village on the northeast tip of the island of Tinharé in Bahia. Unlike other islands, Morro is busier and has a greater nightlife. I was only there from Friday to Sunday but I experienced everything the island has to offer. What would you do on an island for the weekend?
