From Bucharest to Amman to the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum and back to Amman. Then we crossed the border into Israel to go to Jerusalem, Nazareth, Tel Aviv and Haifa. All together, it was probably around 2,500 miles.
It's around 6,000 miles just from the U.S. to Romania, plus the 2,500 miles we traveled on our recent trip. Total, we've traveled over 8,500 miles!
We got around by pretty much every method available this week. Camel, by foot, city bus, tour bus, taxi van, taxi, train, light rail and plane!
Petra, the 2,000 year old city of stones. Close seconds were the Terraces of the Bahá'í Faith and the Shrine of the Báb in Haifa, Israel, one of the most holy sites of the Bahá'í Faith.
Every time we see a new city we love to check out its art. Here's some art from three different Israeli cities we visited: Nazareth, Tel Aviv and Haifa.
